Mugendo Hope provides services with the aim to help children with education, the destitute and health aid in Burundi. Be part of our story and help those in need.

Education:

In Burundi, although primary education is free many children are unable to go to school because their parents do not have enough money to buy their uniforms and the necessary school equipment. 

In addition, many children suffer from starvation when they are at school, which impairs their concentration and leads to early school dropouts. Providing meals to children has proved to encourage them to continue with their education.

The aim of Mugendo Hope is therefore, on the one hand, to contribute to the purchase of uniforms and school equipment for children in need, while at the same time enabling them to have a balanced meal (by offering foodstuffs to underprivileged families).

Destitute:

The Mugendo Hope Association distributes food, clothing, and healthcare products to local people in need. By way of example, together with the brothers and sisters of the ‘Sabaoth Church’, we have offered a number of first necessity products to the people living in Buterere and Kidewure, Bujumbura.

Health:

Because of poverty, many families do not have enough money to pay for the medical expenses of their children. In response, the Mugend Hope Association supports these families by providing financial assistance to supplement their hospital fees. We also provide assistance to patients in need by distributing clothing, food, and hygiene products to families and newborn babies.
